Join licensed Ashaya teacher, certified yoga therapist (IAYT), and yoga anatomy expert, Randy Boyd (E-RYT 500, YACEP) in this comprehensive adventure into the body’s anatomical wonders. Your body is the crystallization of the divine’s desire to know itself. Knowing your body is knowing the source of life.
During this 20-hour Immersion, you elevate your understanding of how alignment instructions, informed by the latest, cutting-edge scientific research, assist your students to move from pain or restrictions to greater freedom. Randy demonstrates how and why the Ashaya method works to enhance the natural biomechanics of the body that produces radiant health. Assisted by Ashaya Co-Teacher Cheryl Chaffee and Founder Todd Norian, each session includes exercises and asanas that allow students to receive an embodied experience of the anatomical teachings.
This course is perfect for yoga teachers of all methods, aspiring teachers, bodyworkers, massage therapists, personal trainers, and students of all levels who are interested in deepening their knowledge of anatomy and the biomechanics of movement. Teachers who complete this course are eligible for 20 hours of CEU’s through Yoga Alliance.
Randy has put together a dynamic, creative, and flexible online learning methodology that includes demonstrations, guided asana exploration, power-point presentations, personal mentoring, and at-home study.
20-Hour Live Online Anatomy Immersion Schedule & Curriculum Schedule: This 20-hour Immersion is spread out over five weeks with four, 75-minute Monday evening classes, (two pre-weekend classes, and two post-weekend classes), and one 15-hour weekend immersion. All times are ET.
