Sunday, 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Align the Spine: Heal Your Hips and Lower Back
The spine’s main function is to support the upright posture of the body and protect our nervous system. But often the curves are reversed or twisted, creating pain and preventing the natural flow of energy. We can feel stuck physically with limited range of motion. Mentally, we can feel like we’re spiraling downward. During this session, we’ll start by exploring how the feet relate to the spine and the rest of the body through the subtle connective tissue, fascia. Then we’ll bring more aliveness and flexibility to the feet and toes, as the foundation for balance and first step to healing the back. Then we’ll focus on realigning the four curves of the spine and opening the hips and back muscles to free the lower back. We’ll learn the therapeutic stretches and exercises to address sciatica, bulging discs, tight psoas, scoliosis, and more.

Sunday, 2:00-4:30 p.m. Free Your Shoulders and Neck
The shoulders are like the wings of the heart. When properly aligned, they free the heart to soar like a bird high above the negative self-narratives. During this session, we’ll discover the optimal position for the shoulders, upper back, neck, and head. We'll look specifically at how to stand up straight and walk leading with the heart, tone the rotator cuff muscles, free up frozen and tight shoulders, work with biceps tendonitis, and free the neck. We’ll also revisit therapeutics for the hips and legs going deeper.
